Alleged unauthorised anaerobic digestion facility containing the following: Two digester tanks with ancillary plant and equipment; storage tank; underground reception tank; concrete retaining wall; Three feedstock storage clamps; feed hopper and concrete pad; CHP building and ancillary development; electrical control building; emergency gas flare; foundations for retaining wall/structure; laneway accessing onto Portstewart Road, and area of hardcore.
The Planning Appeals Commission has received an Environmental Statement (ES) and other information related to the ES in respect of the above referenced appeal. Additional information has been received post hearing. This includes soil sample results, amended plans including details of a proposed upgraded underground tank, an amended methodology for land spreading and an amended Air Quality Impact Assessment. The documentation may be inspected at the following locations and will be available for inspection until Wednesday 21st May 2025.
